Bird Of Prey Ruffles Feathers At Guitarist’s Jam Session

This is the terrifying Birds-style moment when a huge hawk gatecrashes a guitarist’s practice session.

Indian influencer Nikki Kundanmal was recording herself learning how to play the vintage hit ‘Kiss Me’ by US rockers Sixpence None The Richer.

But terrified Nikki fled the rehearsal when she realised a bird of prey had flown in through an open window and was perched just a few inches from her.

The footage begins with the raptor sitting on a balcony railing outside her high-rise New Delhi apartment.

Then like a scene from the Hitchcock thriller, the sinister-looking bird hops in through the window and moves ever closer with Nikki still oblivious to the danger.

At one point her pet dog tries to raise the alarm by howling but Nikki just tells him to keep quiet, saying: “No barking.”

It isn’t until the hawk hops onto a bowl of leftover food that Nikki notices and screams in horror.

As she flees she knocks over a can of energy drink soaking her laptop

Her brave pooch shoots forward to defend her but – realising he was outgunned – Nikki scoops him up in her arms and runs out of the room as the bird flies off.

Nikki – who usually shares videos of herself dancing with pals – captioned the clip: “Not my usual content.”

The video – posted on 30th June – has delighted her 32,000 Instagram followers.

One – ‘anna.m.howell’ – said: “Thank you for making me cry and laugh. Love your dog though. A real one for sure!”

Referring to the spilt drink, ‘mariagubaira’ joked: “Is the laptop ok?”

And ‘kodyboye’ added: “People who aren’t scared of birds have never been bitten by one.”

‘kormeneena’ commented: “I’m here to see if that energy drink company is going to gift you with a new laptop.”

‘lovely2906’ emphasised: “Your dog legit put his tiny life on the line to save you.”
