Shanghai Wildlife Park has given its alpacas a cute haircut to keep them cool in the hot weather in China.

The park confirmed that in preparation for the hot summer ahead, they decided to give a makeover to all of their 30 resident alpacas.

The end result, as can be seen, is that within the alpaca enclosure at the park, a group of animals can now be seen sporting trendy “cool summer outfits.”

With various hairstyles like bangs, curls, and even buzz cuts, combined with their newly-trimmed short fur, they have become a fun sight for visitors.

Trimming their fur is just one of the ways the park is helping the camels stay cool during the scorching summer.

In addition to the stylish makeovers, the park has implemented other measures to ensure the alpacas’ comfort.

The enclosure is equipped with misting systems that provide a refreshing spray to keep the temperature down.

Large ice blocks are also strategically placed for the alpacas to lean against and cool off.

Furthermore, the alpacas’ daily diet has been adjusted to include juicy and nourishing food, ensuring they have a happy and enjoyable summer.

The Shanghai Wildlife Park’s initiative to trim the alpacas’ fur and provide additional aid for heat relief reflects its commitment to animal welfare.
