Rescuers in Russia saved a small calf from a 13-ft deep well after it accidentally fell in and became trapped.
The animal had fallen into the narrow well – in Ussuriysk, Primorsky Krai – that luckily had been out of use and did not contain any water.
Rescuers managed to reach the helpless calf with the help of fire hoses and a long ladder.
Due to the effort of firefighters of the 7th Fire and Rescue Squad of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the seemingly unharmed animal was released.
The fire squad said that before long, the calf was reunited with its owner and happily chewing on hay.
