This is the viral moment a cute parrot interrupts its owner by talking to the camera and blowing kisses.
Hamlet, a two-year-old Blue Indian Ringneck Parakeet, lives with its owner Bridget Chant, 24, in the city of Toowoomba in the Australian state of Queensland.
Bridget told Newsflash: “I got hamlet just over two years ago at a small bird store that trades with hand breeders called Wings and Things.
“Hamlet learned to talk simply from me talking to him like a good friend every day, he is a very smart breed of bird that can mimic many sounds and picked up on what I would commonly say to him.
“He absolutely loves eating fruit and veggies.”
Also, the animal lover said that Hamlet is loving all kinds of attention. On the TikTok platform, Hamlet especially loves watching Kiko and Frankie who are other star parrots like him.
“I noticed that the parrot most often says ‘what are you doing?’ ‘Why so?’ and ‘Did you learn it?’ ‘What doing’ is what he is most confident saying and what I say to him the most.
“I like to know what he is doing with his day, and he has picked up the same phrase from my constant asking, and when
he asks back I like to tell him, regardless if he really does want to know.”
In the footage, Bridget is seen trying to talk to the camera before Hamlet appears and repeatedly talks over the top of her.
In another clip, Bridget tries to come to terms with a tough morning, complete with a mug of coffee in her hand, as Hamlet constantly blows kisses and asks ‘what doing?’
