Man Rescues Injured Deer From Snowy Road

This video shows the moment a mountain ranger helps save an injured deer that was sitting in the middle of a snowy road and refusing to move away.

The footage shows how the man began approaching the deer in the city of Dongning, in China’s south-eastern Heilongjiang Province, but the petrified animal suddenly stood up, turned around, and began walking away.

However, as the man followed it, he realised that its hind limb was injured, and immediately called animal welfare services.

A second clip shows the animal being treated by vets at a local clinic, after rangers caught it and placed it inside a transport cage on Wednesday, 6th December.

The heartwarming video triggered many netizens on social media platforms to thank the good Samaritan for his noble act.

User ‘Aixinjueluo who’ said: “Thank God, thank you!”

Then another one named ‘h8u6x1f’ commented: “Thank you to these good people who rescue animals!”

“Now that conditions are good, there is no need to harm wild animals. Most game meat is not as tasty as the meat you usually eat.”
