This is the shocking moment a raging bull being taken to slaughter gets its revenge as it gores an abattoir worker to death.

Victim Kadir Bilel, 58 had been helping unload the huge bull at the slaughterhouse in the Turkish province of Amasya, on 14th December when it broke free.

Hard-to-watch CCTV footage shows the bull charging at Bilel pinning him to safety railings with its horns.

As it repeatedly crashes into him terrified workmates look on in horror.

When the bull finally backed off, reports local media, the abattoir worker was left lying in a pool of blood.

Workmates can be seen desperately trying to revive him as the grim footage ends

Bilel is said to have died of his injuries soon after being rushed to hospital.

The bull was tranquilised and it is not known whether it went on to be slaughtered.

The footage sparked heated reactions from social media users.

‘Ugur Kara’ said: “The man did not even have a place to run for, he was cornered, how sad..”

While ‘Ahmet Kuru’ wrote: “There are many omissions, all of them should be examined by prosecutors! Rest in peace man, patience to his family.”

And ‘Orhan Onder’ commented: “Most slaughterhouses have narrow paths for only animals to pass, if there was the same thing, the man would have lived.”
