Heroic Dog Prevents Fire By Biting Off Burning Electric Vehicle Charger

A brave dog prevented a major tragedy by biting off the charger from its owner’s electric scooter after noticing sparks flying from the wire.

The heroic pup, which appears to be a Belgian Malinois named ‘Black Panther’, was captured by surveillance cameras outside its home in Anyang. In China’s central Henan Province, on Tuesday afternoon, 6th February.

In the video, Black Panther was seen sitting on a small dog chair placed in the yard next to the open garage.

Its attention was quickly drawn to the nearby electric scooter’s charger that began letting sparks fly.

Incredibly, the dog walked quietly straight towards the burning cable and tried to pull it away with its mouth.

After a few attempts, it managed to bite off the wires, preventing a fire and saving its owner from a disaster.

Its owner, not identified in local media, later said he initially thought the dog had chewed on the charger while playing.

But after watching the surveillance footage, he was stunned to discover his dog had actually saved him and apologised by serving Black Panther a delicious treat.

The Belgian Malinois is a highly intelligent and versatile breed of dog, known for its agility, endurance, and trainability.
