Amimal Traffickers Hurl Deadly Spiders From Window In Police Raid

This is the hair-raising moment police in Brazil have to tackle deadly venomous spiders hurled by animal traffickers from a window during a raid.

The huge creepy crawlies were flung out of the property during an operation to tackle the country’s growing wildlife abuse.

Police footage of the confrontation shows what appear to be highly venomous Brazilian wandering spiders and tarantulas crawling over a car they fell on.

The clip shows at least seven of the spiders on the car’s roof, bonnet and boot and even lurking in the wheel arches.

Later footage shows the spiders after they’ve been collected by experts and stored safely in a container.

Inside one of the properties, two huge anaconda snakes can be seen in sealed food containers while other footage shows cages for dogs, rare birds and even baby alligators.

The raids in Belem, Sao Paulo, Sao Luis, and Timon on 10th April. Were part of a police crackdown on the criminal trafficking of wildlife.

Local media confirmed that officers found more than 100 animals including baby alligators, snakes, tortoises, spiders and birds.

Two suspects were arrested but have not been named.

The police investigation is ongoing.
