This is the magical moment a little songbird well known for its remarkable crown and powerful song appears to be fascinated by its reflection in a police car.

Police got so enchanted by the pretty little bird that they described it as a “Disney moment” after the feathered friend landed on the wing mirror and seemed to be fascinated by its reflection in the window and the side mirror.

The video shows it landing on top of the side mirror, then leaping down to the window in front of its reflection before seeing the mirror and flying over to this, apparently trying to fly through the gap to reach the bird on the other side to the delight of the watching police officers.

The Ruby-crowned kinglet is already known as one of the cutest birds in North America and with its bright ruby-red crest it can manage one of the loudest songs for such a tiny little bird.

The males are distinct from the females because of their bright red crest which they can often keep hidden.

Police shared the video of the incident involving the bird and the patrol car in the city of Fulshear, Texas State, USA.

The department said in a statement obtained by Clipzilla: “Did our K-9 Unit just have a Disney moment, or is this little one trying to release K-9 Blu?”

The video has been viewed more than 3,200 times as of Tuesday, 12th December.
