Sunseekers Team Up To Save Beached Dolphins

This is the heartwarming moment Spanish sunseekers team up to steer a pod of beached dolphins back to sea.

Footage of the remarkable rescue on Seselle Beach in Ares, Galicia, on 31st July emerged on social media.

The dolphins can be seen thrashing desperately in the shallows but seem unable to propel themselves back into the waves.

But then, a group of holidaymakers step in and they gently guide the sea mammals – believed to be common dolphins – towards the deep water of the North Atlantic.

The woman who filmed the rescue is heard saying: “I can’t believe it. The most beautiful moment of life.”

According to local media, around 15 dolphins returned to the coastline later that day when they entered the nearby Bay of Ferrol.

Officers from the Civil Protection were alerted around 10pm to their arrival.

By the early morning, they had moved them back to open waters using a rigid inflatable boat and a jet ski.

After the footage was posted online, one netizen commented: “Really? The most beautiful moment of life is seeing a group of dolphins stranded on a beach? Well, it makes me very sad.”
