This footage shows an incredible five-year-old girl calmly singing eight Pinscher dogs to sleep.
The young girl, named as Helena Sophia, lives in the city of Rio Branco, in the state of Acre, Brazil, and has created an army of followers after videos showing her singing to her dogs went viral.
She has notched up over 250,000 followers on Instagram, with her videos getting millions of views.
Sophia has even been featured on TV programmes in Brazil after becoming famous online.
She can be seen in the footage with her Pinscher dogs, calmly singing them to sleep with a rendition of “Twinkle, twinkle, little star” in Portuguese, as the otherwise lively dogs rest all around her.
About seven other Pinschers can be seen peacefully resting on her body, and a chicken can be seen sitting in a basket beside her, all listening calmly to the soothing melody.
Other footage shows some of the Pinschers can be seen closing their eyes to sleep on her lap and in her hands as she cradles them gently in a hammock.
Sophia said: “I like to put them to sleep by singing ‘little butterfly is in the kitchen’, ‘I went to live in a little house’ and ‘the cockroach says there is’.”
Sophia’s mother, Oscarina Rodrigues, said that it was Sophia’s father, tattoo artist Fabricio Davi, who started editing and posting the remarkable dog-charming feats online.
She said she never imagined the posts would go viral, turning her daughter into the well-known ‘Pinscher Charmer.’
When talking about the dogs, she added: “They spend the day messing around and only calm down when my daughter sings.
“None of them are aggressive, and they all get along very well with each other.
“The only problem is that they are jealous. If you pay attention to one, you’ll have to pay attention to everyone.”
According to Rodrigues, the dogs are considered part of the family.
She also mentioned that Sophia has been raised to care about other living beings and to show it to others.
Sophia’s parents don’t want her to be glued to a phone like other children but to embrace children’s games as well.
They spend BRL 300 (GBP 49) monthly on animal food.
Netizens have shown how amazed they are about Sophia’s dog-charming ability online.
One ‘EM RT’ said: “They are so beautiful!!! She is such a sweet little girl.”
Another, ‘Rita Silva Carvalho’ said: “I love this group with passion; they are all well-behaved.”
‘Ceica Ali Bucar’ added, “I so wish I had the money to donate a house to this lovely family!”
Sophia’s parents have said they have plans to move to a bigger house, accommodating the growing family, including the dogs, according to local media reports.
