Two Magpies ‘Cheer On’ As Cats Brawl On Top Of A Tree Next To Them

This is the hilarious moment two birds ‘cheer on’ two cats brawling that stood next to them on the branches of a tall tree.

The unusual scene, captured by an unnamed spectator, reportedly filmed near a house in Jinzhong, in China’s northern Shanxi Province, on Wednesday, 7th February.

In the video, two cats were seen standing on the branches of a hillside tree, hissing at each other and fighting with their front paws.

Meanwhile, two magpies that stood nearby chirped and chattered as if they were cheering on the catfight.

The clip attracted widespread attention on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, where it clocked up more than 240,000 likes, nearly 30,000 comments, and over 240,000 shares.

Many netizens were apparently amused by the magpies’ brazenness.
