Businessman Returns From Six-Month Trip To Find Hundreds Of Pigeons In His Flat

This is the what-the-flock moment a businessman comes home from a six-month trip to find his luxury apartment had been invaded by hundreds of pigeons.

The bird-brained homeowner had left his balcony window open while he was away and returned to find it had been invaded by a colony of roosting birds.

The man, not named by local media in Orenburg, south west Russia, was horrified to find pigeons had set up home in every room of the flat.

Horrifying footage of the aftermath looks like out-takes from Alfred Hitchcock’s horror movie ‘The Birds’.

Every surface is covered in a thick layer of pigeon poo, even the cooker and the door handles.

And the frantic homeowner can be seen flapping his arms wildly as he tries to shoo out the remaining stragglers.

After ridding himself of the birds, he reportedly called in professional cleaners to sanitise the entire apartment.

But his troubles may not be over just yet.

Bird experts told local media that the pigeons will almost certainly return to the flat as they will remember it as a giant, safe roost.
