Police Rescue Ducklings Stuck In Swimming Pool

The police thought they were quacking up when they were called to an emergency at a swimming pool – to rescue a mother duck and her ducklings.

The birds had piled into the open-air pool in Seminole County, in the US state of Florida, after apparently losing their way to their pond.

So officers were scrambled to pluck the ducks out of the pool and take them back to their home.

Adorable police bodycam footage shows the officers scooping up the four ducklings as they waddle around the grounds jumping in and out of the pool.

One officer is seen cooing to a tiny duckling in her hand as the youngster’s irritated mother runs around her.

Finally, the mother and her offspring are rounded up and taken back to their own natural pond.

Newsflash obtained a statement from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, 29th March, along with a statement saying: “Watch two of our Deputies, Alexandria Mullis and Rachelle Marshall, as they help to save four baby ducks stuck in a pool in Winter Springs.

“Their mother was a little irritated, but we think she’ll forgive us after everyone was sent on their way safe and sound.”
