This is the incredible footage showing a man on a motorbike taking his pet parrot with him while on his job as a food delivery driver.

The footage was shot by the rider identified only by his surname Mr Li as he delivered food on his rounds in the Chinese city of Dongguan, located in the country’s south-eastern Guangdong Province.

He told local media that the parrot kept him company on his rounds, and got some exercise at the same time.

He said that the bird had learned to fly around and avoid traffic as it dramatically wove around moving vehicles and other obstacles in the video shared online on Monday, 17th June.

Earlier footage showed a similar routine as well.

The video amazed online commentators like ‘Patchwork Jenny’, who said: “Delivering food is hard, but having a parrot as a companion is a blessing.”

And user ‘Fishermen Fishing For The Moon’ said: “Beware of cats.”

While the user ‘Lai Miaomiao’ said: “I’m afraid an animal might come and take it away.”
