The roly-poly pooch was filmed working out on a terrace outside a takeaway restaurant in Changsha, in Hunan Province in southern China, by an unnamed passerby.

The determined-looking pet is seen doggedly trotting along at a fast walking pace.

But its swinging tummy told the truth about a diet that was probably too rich in restaurant leftovers.
