Hospital Emergency Room Staff Find Slippery Customer Swimming In Toilet Bowl

Staff in a hospital emergency room had a different type of emergency when they discovered this snake in the staff toilet.

The Incident happened in the employees’ bathroom or the Eden Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in the municipality of Sorocaba in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo on 11th August.

There is apparently a forest not far away from the unit and the snake is believed to have slithered in from there before hiding in the toilet bowl.

A local spokesman confirmed the incident had occurred and that the toilet was located in the emergency unit’s maintenance and clinical engineering bathroom.

They added that it was not accessible by members of the public and nobody had been harmed.

The Sorocaba City Hall added in a note: “The Fire Department was immediately called and collected the animal for release in a suitable environment.”

It was not revealed whatever snake it was or whether it was poisonous, and it is unclear whether it came in via the water pipe or entered the bowl after slithering into the room.
