Forest Officials Rescue Two Leopards That Sneaked Into People’s Homes

These images show forestry officials rescuing two leopards after one sneaked into a bedroom and the other into a house in the same city on the same day.

The rescue operations took place in Savatnagar and Govindnagar neighbourhoods in the city of Nashik, in the state of Maharashtra, India, on 17th November.

The first video shows the moment the first leopard is brought out of one of the buildings after being tranquilised by officials, while the second video shows the same rescue from a different angle and the second rescue.

The first leopard reportedly entered the bedroom after a door was left wide open, according to reports.

The second piece of footage shows the second leopard being brought out of a house on a stretcher after also being successfully tranquilised by officials.

The big cats were taken to a facility where they were administered drugs to revive them. It is currently unclear if they have been released back into the wild.

Local media reported that leopards are seen more and more often in the city of Nashik.
