A police officer in Arizona was faced with a unique situation when he was asked to help capture a wallaby on the loose.
Deputy Bytnar of District 2 in Waddell, Arizona, responded to the peculiar call on 27th July.
With the help of Farm Angels Sanctuary, Deputy Bytnar managed to catch the wild animal.
Farm Angels Sanctuary later emphasised the importance of treating wild animals with respect and care.
They underscored that wallabies are not suitable as pets, given their wild nature and specific habitat requirements.

These particular wallabies, less than a year old, had already experienced a tumultuous journey from Europe to various homes in Arizona, including being sold at an auction.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office also said: ” Wallabies are legal to own in Arizona. Just because one can own, does not mean they should.
“Wallabies do not require any special licenses, but proper set up, space, and care is required.”
