This footage shows how a cheeky owner knocked over a plant pot next to his growling dog and then blamed the pooch for it, even snitching on it to his mum.

The dog, apparently none too pleased at being framed so callously, immediately begins growling and barking at its owner while the man tells his mum that the dog has misbehaved.

The images were filmed in Weifang, in the Chinese province of Shandong, on 29th of April, quickly making the rounds online.

The video shows the dog standing right next to the plant pot before its owner, who has not been named, knocked it over, making a mess on the floor.

The dog appears to be surprised at first, but it startled look quickly changes to one of outrage as its owner begins shouting to his mum in the other room that the pooch knocked over the flowerpot.

The man continues to lie to his mum about the dog’s supposed antics, with the dog repeatedly growling and barking at its owner.

Online commentators like ‘Split Wood’ said: “I feel like it scolded me so fiercely.”

And user ‘The Little Guy Who Loves To Dance’ said: “Dog: When you sleep at night, it’s best to take turns keeping watch with both eyes.”
