TV Reporter Stung By Wasp During Live Broadcast

This is the un-bee-lievable moment a wasp interrupts a live newscast by stinging the reporter who then jumped up in shock, trying to shake it off.

The reporter, Cristian Dimitrius, experienced the unexpected moment during his appearance on the Brazilian program “Melhor da Noite,” live from the Amazon jungle on the evening of 4th October.

While talking to hosts Glenda Kozlowski and Zeca Camargo about turtle nesting in the Amazon region, Dimitrius was surprised by a wasp attack.

The incident happened live, leaving everyone surprised as the reporter suddenly jumped out of his seat and tried to shake off the insect.

The moment did not go unnoticed, as the show’s presenters made a point of showing a replay of the exact moment the reporter was attacked by the insect.

The reporter said: “I just got stung right now at this moment.”

Zeca Camargo did not miss the chance to make a humorous comment, warning Dimitrius to be careful with the insects.

The presenter joked: “Look, Dimitrius, we’re looking forward to the next adventure, I just have to ask you to watch out for the wasps.”

Despite the incident, he did not suffer serious injuries. He then displayed the injury, which resulted in a large swelling on the lower part of his arm.

Good-humoredly, Dimitrius laughed off the situation and took the opportunity to emphasise that he was fine: “It hurt, you know? It’s even swollen, but it’s normal.”

He then continued his participation as if nothing happened.
