A terrified lorry driver and his passenger fled after a huge python entered the vehicle’s cabin in India.
The incident took place in Greater Noida, a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The footage shows the large reptile with its head resting on the lorry window after slithering in, with its body extending back to the lorry’s trailer.
Other images show the police and others trying to capture the huge snake a short while later using long sticks and rope after it apparently abandoned the lorry and ended up on a scooter.
It can be seen trying to slither away as the cops and others try to capture it and the driver and his colleague, who have not been named, stand on the pavement.
The snake was eventually captured by the authorities, according to local media. It is thought that the huge snake was released back into the wild.
The Indian python (Python molurus) is a large python species native to India and Southeast Asia. It can typically reach 3 metres (over 9 feet) in length and is listed as near-threatened on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.
