Moment Anaconda Vomits Whole Goose In Brazil

This is the moment an anaconda vomits a whole goose in Brazil.

The footage was filmed in the Brazilian state of Goias and shows the snake regurgitating the whole goose next to a lake as the people filming gaze on in wonder.

The snake can be seen writhing and squirming before the dead goose emerges from its jaws.

One of the people filming can be heard saying: “It’s a goose, bro!”

One man can be seen holding the snake’s tail, with the reptile then attempting to slither into a body of water and swim away as the footage ends.

Local media reported that the snake was probably stressed and felt threatened, which is why it regurgitated its prey and attempted to flee.

The defence mechanism is high risk because it can injure the snake, considering that they often swallow the animals they catch whole, hooves and all.

Anacondas (Eunectes) are a genus of large, semi-aquatic boas found in South America.

The exact species filmed in the video is currently unclear but green anacondas (Eunectes murinus) of the largest snake in the world, often reaching over 16 feet (5 metres) in length.

It is currently unclear what happened to the snake after the footage ended.
