This is the hilarious moment a man gets thrown off his horse into the horse pen as the animal apparently suddenly noticed they had arrived home and came to an abrupt stop.
CCTV cameras captured the moment the rider, surnamed Lee, got literally dropped off at home in Bazhou, in China’s northern Hebei Province, on 29th October.
The footage shows Lee returning from a day of horseback riding alongside his dog.
His horse, named Mongolia, appeared to be galloping at speed as they approached the outside pen, with Lee seemingly unable to slow the horse down despite them having nearly arrived.
All of a sudden, Mongolia seemed to notice they had reached their home and headed straight towards the metal fence.
There, he came to a sudden stop, which caused Lee to lose balance and fall off, landing head-first between the two guardrails of the fence.
Despite his owner having nearly gotten seriously injured, Mongolia calmly walked off and entered the yard as if he had successfully completed a mission.
Lee later shared with AsiaWire in an interview: “The horse is raised by myself. I’ve been raising it for half a year. His name is Mongolia.”
He said he did not suffer any injuries from the fall, adding: “The horse knew the way home. [But] because he hadn’t been taken out for a ride for a long time, he lost control.”
Lee, who works as a professional kickboxer, said: “I’ve just began to learn to ride horses four months ago.”
He added: “I hope that everyone does a good job of having proper protection when horseback riding. Safety [comes] first.”
