This is the moment a happy heifer is so excited about being turned out to pasture that she demolishes a barn as she skips to freedom.

The young cow was part of a herd being allowed out into a field to graze on a farm in the city of Handan, Hebei Province, China, on 9th April.

But as they frolicked through the yard one beast got over excited and crashed through a brick pillar holding up the barn roof.

CCTV video footage shows the clumsy cow barging into the support with its hip.

Within a second, it has been ripped clear of the roof and crashes heavily to the ground as the roof tumbles down.

Panicked animals that were caught under the collapsing structure then tried to flee back the way they had come.

And the errant beast that caused the collapse can be seen only narrowly escaping the falling blocks of rubble from the collapsing pillar as she flees off camera.

The video was later shared on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok.

Local media reported that none of the cows were injured in the collapse.
