These shepherds are proving slippery customers after using a tarpaulin as a makeshift slide to offload sheep from a steep-sided vehicle.

The video was shot in Xinbarhu, located in Inner Mongolia, and shows the sheep being removed by the slide technique.

The two men at the top of the truck grabbed the young sheep and then gently laid them on the side before releasing them to slip down to the pair at the bottom waiting to catch them.

Once they come to a stop, the sheep stand up and scamper off into the field.

The video was posted and caused surprise among many online commentators like ‘Ambition’ who said: “Sheep never thought of riding on a slide in their lives.”

And user ‘A Better Tomorrow’ said: “It’s so fun, the sheep are so happy. It can play on the slide just like humans.”

While the user ‘Nagge’ said: “Smart working people.”
