Cat Tries To Make Tall Jump Despite Falling Down Several Times

This persistent puss was seemingly so determined to hop onto a roof that it would not quit despite falling down a dozen feet to the ground several times.

Phone footage shows the white cat with coloured patches running up the stairs of a home in Cangzhou, in northern China’s Hebei Province.

Then, as it reached the top of the stairway, it tried to jump onto the roof of what seems to be a storage space a few feet away.

But, unable to make the long distance, it fell on a clothesline and then landed on the ground.

Surprisingly, rather than giving up, it ran back to the top of the stairs just as quickly and once again tried to jump over to the roof.

However, it once again failed and fell down.

Still undeterred by the long fall, it made a third failed attempt. By the end of the video, it appeared to be coming back up for another try.

Incredibly, the person who filmed the stubborn feline said it later ran off uninjured.

They shared the clip on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, where it notched up more than 400,000 likes and over 1.2 million shares.

And user ‘Tujia people’ commented: “Isn’t this like a kid going up and down a slide?”

While user ‘Man Zai’ said: “It’s good to have some empathy. Cats are not stupid. There must be some reason for it being so anxious.”
