This is the adorable moment a woman’s two young children join a cat as the trio massages her legs as she rests after a tiring day of work.

Its owner, named Mrs Yang, filmed the feline as it worked tirelessly to provide the purr-fect massage at their home in Liaoning, in north-east China.

Incredibly, her young son and daughter also joined in to help mum relax after an exhausting day of work on 17th October.

In the video, shared on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, the cat appeared to be tutoring the two kids as it kneaded on the blanket covering Mrs Yang while the youngsters tried to keep up.

The children followed the cat’s movements and rhythm, gently massaging Mrs Yang’s legs and shoulders with their little hands.

The woman described her cat as exceptionally smart and well-behaved, and many users were seemingly amused at how professional it looked at the owner’s bedside.

One Douyin user titled ‘Silk Road Flower Rain’ commented: “Working hard for next month’s cat food.”

User ‘518’ wrote: “My tabby also does this, I don’t know what’s going on.”

And user ‘innocent boy’ jokingly remarked: “We look forward to the cat labour law being enacted as soon as possible!”
