Two Rescuers Drop Giant Snake Crawling Through Flat Window

This is the slippery customer in the form of a massive albino python that was spotted trying to crawl in through a window at a home in India.

It is believed that the python was probably a domesticated pet that had escaped from the apartment when shocked locals spotted it on a canopy above a metal grille trying to get inside.

The individuals can be observed carefully working to prevent the python from falling while positioned at the window, where they try to secure the snake and bring it safely indoors.

Video footage shows the pair attempting to catch the snake and also stop it from getting inside, but unfortunately, they only succeeded in dropping it off the roof and it then falls to the ground below.

Reports say that the python was surprisingly not injured after it slipped out of the grille and fell despite the efforts of the two rescuers.

The incident unfolded in the Naupada locality in the metropolitan city of Thane in India and locals claimed that it was the property of a local man reportedly involved in breeding Burmese pythons in captivity.

The video, filmed by an onlooker, showcases the python’s impressive size and distinctive albino colouring resulting from a genetic mutation. Typically, Burmese pythons (Python bivittatus) in the wild exhibit a dark brown colouration.

The albino Burmese python’s rarity is attributed to the fact that only a few hatchlings ever exhibit this distinctive albino colouring and most do not survive in the wild. The unique genetic trait results from a lack of melanin production, leading to white skin or scales.

It remains unclear whether authorities have been involved in this case or if they intend to launch an investigation into the claims surrounding the alleged illegal breeding activities linked to the snakes’ discovery.
