This is the paw-sitively hilarious moment a white tiger sneaks up on a zoo goer apparently without noticing the giant glass in between them.

Phone footage shows the playful cat apparently trying to play ‘Guess who’ with a man sitting outside its cage in a zoo in Beijing, China’s capital.

The clip – shared later on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok – shows the man sitting beside a baby stroller and eating ice cream when he catches the tiger’s attention.

The tiger then begins slowly creeping up on the man who pretends not to notice it.

He quickly turns his head for a short second which causes the tiger to freeze, seemingly not wanting to scare of its ‘prey’.

As the man goes back to his dessert, the ferocious cat continues sneaking up until it finally reaches him and tries to pounce.

But as it hits the glass barrier, it turns tail and walks away looking embarrassed while the man laughs and waves the tiger goodbye.

Numerous netizens poked fun at the rare white tiger’s failed hunting operation, while others praised whoever managed to wipe the glass squeaky clean.

Douyin user ‘ho ho ho ho’ commented: “It seems like the tiger feels a bit embarrassed in the end.”

Another user – ‘light summer’ – wrote: “I thought you are being very brave before I realised the glass in there had me fooled.”

And user ‘puss in boots’ said: “It pretended like nothing happened and walked away.”
