This is the heatedly discussed video that shows cleaning staff removing dirt from a glass bridge at a scenic spot.
Many of the commentators said they would only use the bridge when it was so dirty that you could not see the bottom, while others praised the cleaning staff for their nerves of steel in unveiling the shocking distance to the ground below.
The brief video was reportedly shot at a scenic spot in Hechi, a prefecture-level city in the northwest of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with the video shared on 17th May.
A spokesman for the company, Zhu Xiaobin, said that it was filmed by a colleague who decided to share it online, showing two staff members cleaning the glass, and they had not expected it to go so viral.
They said that it was located close to the mountainside, 286 metres (938 feet) long, 1.6 metres (5.2 feet) wide, and 200 metres (656 feet) above the ground.

They added that they did not usually need to clean it however after heavy rain, mud often washed down from the cliff onto the glass road and it needed to be cleaned so that the view could be enjoyed.
Special extrawide cleaning wipers have been created for this purpose.
Regarding those who asked for it not to be cleaned, Zhu said: “In fact, the glass plank road is for everyone to experience the thrill of high altitude.
“The glass itself should be transparent. If it is not clean, the effect will not be so good.”

Online commentators like ‘Sister Coco Is Here’ said: “Oh my god, I really envy this cleaner. I won’t do this job no matter how much money you pay me.”
And ‘User 2940478964493’ said: “Believe it or not, Even if I was given CNY 50,000 [GBP 5,500] a month, I wouldn’t dare to go.”
While the user ‘Meaty’ said: “My legs go weak just looking at it.”
