The video was filmed at the northernmost point of Eurasia where a polar bear approached the station and was met by a group of four dogs, including a dog named Mukha and her offspring.
The dogs can be seen barking intensely while advancing towards the animal, which initially stood its ground before moving away from the site.
During the confrontation, Muxa is said to have sustained a scratch on her paw while helping to push the animal back from the station area.
The encounter ended with the dogs maintaining control of the immediate surroundings.
The researchers at the station reportedly said that polar bears are frequently reported in the region around the remote Arctic outpost.
