A good Samaritan police officer has pep talked a terrified male bear struggling to cross the road into safely reaching the other side.
The adorable footage shows the bear hesitating to make a step towards the road as a police officer from the California Highway Patrol encourages it to cross on Friday, 11th August.
In the video, the officer can be heard saying: “You’re good! Let’s go, come on! I got you, let’s go! Come on, I’ll get you across, come on boy!”
Just a moment later the bear plucks up the courage and takes a leap of faith towards the other side of the road in the town of Truckee, California State, USA.
The officer then says: “Come on, there you go. There you go, good boy. Good boy, there you go!”
California Highway Patrol posted the video later that day on their social media sites and said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Happy Friday!
“Bear with us as we get this gentleman across the street. Always providing the highest level of safety, service, and security… Even to our furry friends.”
The video was viewed more than 114,000 after it was posted last week, leaving moved netizens unable to resist expressing their heartfelt thoughts.
