This is the moment firefighters rescue a dog after its head became stuck inside a plastic milk container while trying to get at the leftovers inside.
The incident happened in the rural community of Barreiro in Turmalina, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, on Friday, 6th March.
Video shows the large dog with its head completely stuck inside a plastic milk can, unable to free itself.
According to the Minas Gerais Military Fire Brigade, a team was called to the scene after the animal’s owner reported that the dog was in danger.
When firefighters arrived, they found the dog with the container firmly wedged over its head.
Officials said the animal had likely been trying to reach food scraps inside the container when it became stuck.
The dog was reportedly showing signs of stress and was unable to remove the object on its own.
Using animal rescue techniques, firefighters carefully cut open the plastic milk container and removed it from the dog’s head.
Authorities said the procedure was carried out without causing any injuries to the animal.
After the rescue, the dog was left in the care of the person who had requested assistance from firefighters.
