Footage shows the handcuffed suspect being escorted to a police car before he is later taken from the vehicle and led into a police station by female officers.
Brazil’s Civil Police said the investigation began after the daughter, now 29, told relatives that her father had allegedly sexually abused her since she was 12.

Investigators said at least one of her four children was conceived as a result of the alleged abuse, while DNA tests are now being carried out to establish whether the suspect is also the biological father of the other three.
The four children are aged between one and 11.

Police said the daughter disclosed the alleged abuse to relatives while her father was in prison for another offence.
Investigators claim that after his release he went to find her and threatened to take away the child allegedly conceived through the abuse unless she returned to live with him.
She then went back to the property, where police said she lived with her father and her four children.
The daughter told investigators that the alleged rapes continued until recently and claimed her father repeatedly threatened to kill her if she reported him.
Police said she described him as violent, aggressive and controlling.
The Child and Adolescent Protection Police in Anapolis applied for his preventive detention, which was authorised by a domestic violence court.
The suspect denied the allegations and refused to provide a biological sample or give a statement to investigators, saying he would speak before the courts.
Police nevertheless seized personal items belonging to him in an attempt to obtain genetic material that can be compared with samples taken from the children.
The daughter and her four children were taken into protective care following the arrest.
The suspect was transferred to a prison unit in Anapolis and remains at the disposal of the courts while the investigation continues.
